The Elmwood Youth Employment Experience (EYEE) is a 15-week paid employability skills training program. The objective of the EYEE program to help those aged 18 to 29 overcome their barriers to obtaining employment by providing participants with an employment experience and training to obtain the  skills they need to find and keep a job.

Each EYEE (Pronounced “eye”) session has eight participants and is split into two sections; eight weeks of employability and life-skills training, and seven weeks of practical work experience. Participants are paid minimum wage to attend.

We are a 15 week-long PAID employability skills training program.

The 8 weeks of in class training are followed by 7 weeks at a work experience in an area that matches the participant’s interests and skill set.  The participants spend 7.5 hours a day from Monday-Thursday at the work placement and return to the classroom on Friday mornings.
